Demonstrate basic knowledge of essential characteristics of an effective counselor. Demonstrate basic knowledge, skills, and attitudes that are critical in becoming an effective multicultural counselor. Demonstrate knowledge of a framework for ethical decision making. Demonstrate basic knowledge of key concepts and commonly used techniques of psychoanalytic therapy, as well as existential humanistic and person-centered theories. Demonstrate knowledge of key concepts and characteristics that unite the field of behavior therapies ( Cognitive, Cognitive-Behavioral , and Reality. |
